WEEK 4 First Phase of Teaching Practice

 Day 13 – Monday, August 4th

I continued my internship classes with Grade 8C. The lesson for the day focused on reinforcing key themes and characters from the chapter we’ve been working on. I began the class with a short recap activity, followed by a group discussion. The students were engaged and actively participated. I also incorporated a short video related to the theme, which helped the learners visualize the content better.

Day 14 – Tuesday, August 5th

I handled 8C again and introduced a new grammar topic linked to the lesson. I used charts and real-life examples to help students understand the concept clearly. An interactive blackboard activity helped them practise sentence construction. I was happy to see more hesitant students volunteering to answer.

Day 15 – Wednesday, August 6th

Another session with 8C was conducted where we focused on a writing task – a character sketch based on the protagonist. Students worked in pairs, and I moved around helping them brainstorm and draft ideas. Some students shared their sketches aloud, and their creativity was impressive.

Day 16 – Thursday, August 7th

I had classes with  8c  today. In 8C, we conducted a  memory map , situation and emotion matiching activity that brought out important themes from the chapter. 

Day 17 - Friday,  August 8th

 The lesson with class 8C continued as usual with the ongoing chapter. Students were attentive and participated actively in the discussion. Key concepts were explained and clarified, and a short recap was done to reinforce previous learning. The class went smoothly with good student engagement.
